Sea School of Newfoundland

Sea School was founded in 1999 by owner-operator Jim Miller .  Jim has experience in the operation of sailboats, fast-rescue craft, small commercial vessels and cruising trawlers. He is a certified instructor with the International Sail and Power Academy and a member of the International Sail and Power Association.

Jim has sailed housands of miles, both in his own boats and as volunteer crew with sailing friends.  Many of his sailing adventures have been recounted in the Pleasure Boating column of The Navigator magazine.  Searoom, a website for the cruising sailor, also carries many articles by Jim and his wife and sailing partner, Bonnie James.
